Ambitions for Jersey

Dear Electors,

I would wish to see the Island with no division on societies or groups. Only then we can live better, if we accept our differences and make them work to our advantage, rather than disadvantage. Let us build the legacy which will lay out the foundations for future generations.

As Senator, I will pursue determined approach towards the key issues which have long been awaiting solution.

My aim is to make number of key changes into the policies of:

IMMIGRATION AND BORDER CONTROL

-Introducing work permits for incoming employees.
-Preventing entry to criminals seeking refuge in the Island.

HEALTH CARE

-Reducing doctor fees for pensioners, people on long term incapacity allowance and low income with minimum of five years residency.

ECONOMY GROWTH

-Attracting more high-net-worth individual to the Island and incentivising development of the gambling industry.

-Raising the licensing authority for gambling to ensure licences are granted to appropriate applicants and that the licence holders conduct their undertaking in terms of their licences.

-Reducing airport charges in order to attract wider spectrum of airline providers.

-Putting Jersey on the map as diving destination.
-Supporting development of small businesses.

HOUSING 

-Improving standards of living by scrapping the current rental housing qualifications and allowing housing market to regulate itself alone, whilst retaining the current regulations for purchasing land and property.

ENVIRONMENT 

-Stimulating people to think green by means of implementing new recycling and developing environmentally safe waste-to-energy technology.
-Creating alternative energy solutions, providing clean, reliable electric power, saving space in local landfills and reducing pollution of Jersey shores.

I believe that new people with fresh ideas will be able to understand the current issues we are facing, through an active engagement with ordinary people. Not just before the election, as it usually happens, but during their whole term.

Drodzy wyborcy,

Jako senator zdecydowanie podejdę do kluczowych spraw, które od dawna czekają na rozwiązanie.

Moim celem jest, dokonać szeregu istotnych zmian w obecnych przepisach:

IMIGRACJI I KONTROLI GRANICZNEJ 

-Wprowadzenie zezwoleń na pracę dla nowo przybyłych pracowników.

OCHRONA ZDROWIA

-Wprowadzenie niższych opłat lekarskich dla emerytów, osób na zasiłku z tytułu długoterminowej niezdolności, osob o niskich dochodach z co najmniej pięcioletnim statusuem rezydenta.

WZROST GOSPODARKI

-Przyciąganie większej ilosći osób o wysokich dochodach na wyspę przez rozwój branży hazardowej. Stworzenie organu wydającego uprawnienia na działalność hazardową oraz weryfikacji dzialających przedsiębiorstw zgodnie z  licencjią.

-Zmniejszenie opłat lotniskowych, aby przyciągnąć szersze spektrum operatorów lotniczych.
-Umieszczenie Jersey na mapie swiata jako miejsca do nurkowania.
-Wspomaganie rozwoju małych przedsiębiorstw.

WARUNKI MIESZKANIOWE

-Poprawa standardu życia poprzez zniesienie obecnych kwalifikacji na wynajem mieszkań i pozwalenie, aby rynek mieszkaniowy regulował się sam, przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu aktualnych przepisów na zakup gruntów i nieruchomości.

ŚRODOWISKO 

-Zwracając uwagę społeczeństwa na ekologie i wdrażanie bezpiecznych dla środowiska metod utylizacji śmieci.
-Wykorzystanie alternatywnych źródeł energii elektrycznej, zaoszczędzając miejsce oraz zmniejszając zanieczyszczenie wybrzeża Jersey.

Wierzę, że nowe osoby z nowymi pomysłami będą mogly zrozumieć aktualne problemy przed którymi stoimy, poprzez aktywne zaangażowanie ze zwykłych ludzi. Nie tylko przed wyborami, takze po.
